Thirty Second week of LPC

Another milestone has passed, yuhaa I turned 22! Yah yah it's ma burday, it's ma burday, ima partay like it's ma burday! 

As the midnight hour went by, I sat on my bed with all these presents and my work to my side, and happily opened my presents whilst reading up for my next class. Honestly, I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm already so grateful for getting presents this year and my family came up to celebrate with me early on last week, so I don't mind that I had to do reading for class. It could be worse, I could actually have class on my birthday, but I didn't. So I'm grateful. I mean, I've been completely spoilt with the chocolate, the gifts, and the sweet words in the birthday cards.

I'm especially grateful for having the best of friends wishing me happy birthday and taking me for yummy food. Everyone has a different way of showing birthday love, and in years to come I'll be honest, I won't remember the gifts I get, but I'll remember the memories made, the company, the atmosphere, the laughs and the smiles, that's what makes birthdays the best. Thank you immensely for those who made my birthday that extra special this year, I couldn't have asked for more, I'm so overwhelmed with love ^_^

  

 

  

Aside from receiving all the love, I've been giving myself some food loving by finally getting back to cooking my main meals and baking again! Woohoooooo. I've seriously missed baking, and I'm sooo immensely happy that the cooking / baking actually taste reasonably okay! Maybe I'll be updating the food blog again with new brownie recipes. I've had so many failed attempts with brownies, but safe to say, this recipe is the best one so far. Mmmmmm a whole jar of galaxy brownies yummmmeh.

To end this week, I got to spend part of today with my Jojo. Watching you run around, squealing, dancing, running after pigeons and getting scolded for touching the floor, makes me really appreciate life. I can't believe that you've grown so much already. Everyday you look more like your dad, but you become more of yourself everyday. You are learning so much, and although I don't want you to grow up, I can't wait till I can teach you grown up stuff, cause' he doesn't need help riding a bike :3 Yeah, your auntie is the coolest ;)

All week, I've been staring at this picture and constantly falling in love with it all over again. My bbs are so so cute and so grown up now! I miss you both <3
