Fifth week of LPC

If i've learnt anything from living in London for just over a month now, is not to follow others. Particularly when it comes to crossing the road, or they will be the death of you.

Yes, the roads aren't as chaotic as the roads in India or Nepal. BUT people feel they have a free will in deciding as and when they are to cross a road. I'm not going to lie, I do it too, I cross when I see the opportunity to, instead of waiting for the green man. But in London, there are very little "opportunities" to cross, you either go the full way across the road (running most of the way) or you wait for the green man, or you get run over.

Since starting the LPC, I have been chugging down the coffee. Today I can confess to you all, that I have ditched the coffee. I have been coffee-free for the whole week now, aren't you proud ;)? The tipping point was the day I drank two cups of coffee within the space of two hours, and when my friend sent me an article on "7 reasons why you should consider quitting coffee" I am the third reason for quitting coffee.

"Too much caffeine can cause insomnia and fatigue, making you tired throughout the day - and less effective".

This describes me in a nutshell. All day every day, like a zombie. I've always had green tea, but seriously, it works when you need it to work, and it's also a detox, perfect! Now my caffeine intake is only through green tea, accompanied by the FT. Woohoo. (I don't really read all of it ... like the front page ... or when it's interesting.)
How my mornings begin
Ever since I arrived to London, I've discovered so many different cafes and food places. So many that literally every second of my day is spent either studying or thinking about what I'm going to eat and when I'm going to eat. I want to eat healthily, but I also want to eat cake. It's a hard life.
Food & study, all day every day
This week has been a major food week, my most favourite week <3

But it is my most favourite week because of the company, I mean who wouldn't love to have such great company. Thank you for everyone who made my week, I am grateful for every week that passes, and that I am still here making my future happen for real. It wouldn't be possible without your physical and moral support :) Like being able to see my jojo on whatsapp is enough to keep me going, you make me such a proud Auntie <3
