Fifteenth, Sixteenth & Seventeenth Week

2 weeks off for Chrismassssss! Which translated to 5 days off for Christmas, 9 days of revision. You can give a student as much time in the world before an exam or assignment, they won't do it until the last minute. This is true to the core. Apparently we like the pressure.

Christmas was exactly what I wanted. Warm. I don't expect much from Christmas anymore (even though I really wished it snowed), all I ever want is time spent with family and friends, and maybe some presents too :P Thank you for the best first Christmas for and with the bbs. Thank you for blessing me with the best family & friends I could ever ask for. Especially muma, baba & spam.




  


But had you been by our side that would have made this Christmas the most perfect of them all. It still hurts to think about you, to visit you, to reminisce about you. I promise that I'll fulfil that promise I made to you, even if it kills me. 

4 years ago we said we would meet in 8 years time to see what we have become. We're now 21/22, in 4 years time at 25/26 we are going to be doing exactly what we always said we would, and the times we have together will never change. Just like every meeting, our friendship will be just as funny, silly, drunken & memorable. Thank you for letting me be me, whilst teaching me to be a better person <3


 

 

Every new years is so different, so spontaneous, and yet, the most amazing times I've ever experienced in each year. This year was no exception.

Copious bottles of beers later, sheltering under a high rise building, we watched as the time began its countdown. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year!

From the little side street where we stood, we saw the new year together, we saw the fireworks explode into the skies, we heard the cheers, and I saw my family away from home. I'll probably never meet people like them again, not because they have something so special it's irreplaceable, but because they're themselves. They have minds full of so many different views, opinions, life experiences. Each of their own, each from their own country. That's what makes them family to me, how they are the type of friends that can speak to you about anything, how silence isn't awkward, how you can always get home on a drunken night, and how they are themselves.

Each year I meet so many people, and as people come and go, I never expected to be able to see so many new things every time. But with you guys everyday isn't just a normal day, it's life. For that, I'm always going to be thankful. This first and last new years with you all was truly awesome, and I hope that each year will be just as amazing for you all, and hopefully no morning afters with your head in your hands, trying to piece the events of the night before, with nothing left but your laptop! :P














And as a wonderful way to greet our return to bpp we had exams wooohooo. They were just as I expected. One good one bad. Oh well, it's so out of my control now. No point sulking. Besides we've so got this. Come at me February exams!
