Twentieth Week of LPC

Whilst I've been living in the library for the past, this girl here decided to leave me and take my parents with her to Milan. -CRY-
But I am so thankful that she has been given this opportunity to explore Milan, but most importantly, to explore and find herself. Only you know how to make the best out of this opportunity Sam. Go have an amazing adventure, and come back with a ton of stories for me to hear ^_^

So this little guy turned 1 on Friday, and we all gathered together to celebrate with him yesterday. It's been so long since I've gone back home and seen my family that I just got so excited and started taking a bunch of photos, just so I could remember this day, and cherish the memories for a life time. The moment I got there I remember saying Happy Birthday to Josiah, and he gave me the sweetest smile, as if he knew that it was his birthday, and even if he didn't, he knew that this was all for him.

These two photos are my most favourite out of a bunch that I took. His laughter and smile is so genuine, so innocent, and so beautiful. The life of a 1 year old is so simple, so peaceful, so fun, so happy. I love his smile, I love everything about him, and I love that he's family too. That's the icing on the cake, or the custard to my apple crumble. Mmm custard <3

We always long to go back to that age. Not that we will ever remember what it was like, but we just assume that when we were that age we had zero worries compared to now. It may be true. Yesterday when I watched him play with a bunch of balloons, I wished I could be like him. To have no responsibilities and not to care about the bunch of revision that I have to do. But then I thought, I've got a pretty amazing life as it is, it may not be completely care free and holding no responsibilities, but I have him in my life. I have River in my life. I have my immediate family. I have a massive extended family and a bunch of amazing friends. They all make up for not having such a carefree life. In fact, they make it so. Without them all, I'd be bald by now. But I love my life, and honestly, I cannot wait to watch them grow, and continue to share and capture memories together. <3

As for River, this girl is looking more and more cute everyday, and she has such a squishable face. You're so cutayyyyy <3 She'll be 1 on wednesday, can't wait to see your cutie face again and sing happy birthday to you ^_^!

This photo right here speaks a thousand words. Josiah looks so bewildered, but I bet it's just him thinking, "why is everyone looking at me and singing some weird song o.O?", he's loving it really :P As for my cousin and his beautiful wife, those smiles. They are just so beautiful. I'm so glad you brought Josiah into our lives, and I'm even more grateful that he has you two as parents. You make amazing parents and I will always respect you guys for all you have done for him and me. You guys are the best.

Exams are literally next week (if you count Sunday as the new week). Don't bother asking me where I am, I'm gonna be in the library. Feel free to come visit, please bring food, I'll need feeding. Hahahaha.
♥~
