Each day of the exam was such a chore, travelling to Excel with the earliest commuters, staring out the window as the sun starts to rise for the coming day. Travelling there was a lot of pain, with a lot of changing and running about, trying to desperately cram in as much as possible before the exam.
I think, the worse part of it all was the fact that the exams were back to back, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. If waking up at 4am didn't already suck the life and soul out of me, a second exam was about to skin me. It got pretty bad, so bad that I would chug down a large latte with double espresso to stay awake. I chose the worse way of dealing with it, but it worked! Albeit, I made my body hate me for the next week.
So midway through my exams Zaid turned 22! As blood brothers, we all came together to celebrate him turning old for one last year, in the UK all together. I love how despite our crazy schedules, and different courses, we all still managed to get together and celebrate. One year older and one year forward to being a kick ass barrister, woohoooo ^_^!
Kirsh & Joy are major cuties in this photo. Drunk little cuties ^_^!
So what happened when we finished our exams? We celebrated of course! The most happiest of celebrations, because the Business exam went a heck of a lot better than I could ever imagine. The bane of my life suddenly wasn't so bad after all. The 18th was a crazy night, it was full of conversation, banter, laughter and amazing company. Maybe we all had a little one too many shots, but hey, no hang over for me, so that's always a bonus ;) We've come this far together, and it sucks that we won't be in the same group again, but there's always advocacy to look forward to together :P
What have I been doing since finishing my exams? Erm ... well, I might have done a lot more studying than I really should have been over this one week break ... But I did go home, and I didn't take any work with me, so that's an improvement I think :) Home is literally the best remedy for anything, I'm always gifted with amazing food, and the most cutest thing my parents did for me this time round, is save the best food for me, ready for me to devour when I got home. You guys are the best <3
Oh and who could forget little River. She's is the cheekiest little bb I know, but she always fills my heart with so much joy and laughter, I love you so much Riri. You're just so happy, and that always makes me blush with happiness <3
Next week our electives start up again, so it's back to studying. It's very tiring, but everything that is happening now, is honestly the most fun and dynamic adventure I have ever experienced, and the best part is? I'm still on this adventure, learning so much knowledge, learning so much about myself, and I never want it to end.
♥~
