Twenty Eighth Week of LPC

First week of easter holidays is over already, say whuuuuut?!

Something that I've always wanted to do was to Climb the 02. Sounds super badass (kinda), like whoaaa who climbs the 02?! Is it even a thing?! Yes, it is, and yes it was fun. It was more of a workout for my arms trying to get the latches through each hurdle, but it was worth all the effort to see that view from up top.
It wasn't the greatest of views I've ever seen, but you could feel the wind blowing rapidly through the air, you could see each cloud perfectly painted in the sky, and you could embrace the moment of being somewhere you've never been before, somewhere you've never seen before.

If there was one thing I could choose about nature that I love, is seeing blue skies with fluffy clouds and the sun peeking out ever so often, just to let you know that it is there. There hasn't been very many moments like this, but those moments are the ones where I learnt to let go of all the negatives of the day or the week, where I let myself embrace the happiness the day has to bring, and let myself understand and truly know that everything is going to be okay. It's like nature is agreeing with me, and it lets me see that there is so much more of this world I've yet to see and conquer. So seeing blue skies with fluffy cloud and the sun shining down on me, I know I am blessed.

I couldn't be more proud of Owais for conquering his fear of heights. Unbeknown to everyone else, this guy was the one who got us all to go, he hyped it up and on the day of the climb, he saw the 02 and pooped his pants. But that didn't stop him. People like him do exist in this world, in fact they exist in all of us, we just need to go out there and become that person. Conquering our fears.

He's also a super great solicitor-to-be. He has conquered a lot and I admire and respect him immensely for it. Keep conquering and keep doing what you know is best, because I just know that you'll make it so good one day.

In fact, I'm blessed to know so many intelligent minds since starting BPP. I never go into anything with any expectations (or at least I try not to), so to meet people such as these guys, to be given the opportunity to interact and personally know these guys is truly a blessing. They bring out the silliness in me and keep the kid inside of me alive, because sometimes (especially in a course as intense as the LPC) you need to be that 5 year old kid that messed about and enjoyed life simply because they are alive.

Soon this little buddy will be all grown up and won't have the cutesy little baby fat on his little cheeks, and won't want us to throw him in the air and pretend we're an aeroplane taking him for a ride. But I hope he never loses sight of his childhood, because that is the most precious time of all.
